Through residencies, exchanges and exhibitions, they have established connections with other national and international art scenes, expanding the reach of Tijuana&#8217;s production. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>However,<em> the sustainability of these projects remains a challenge<\/em>. The lack of stable funding and real estate pressures have led to the closure of several of these spaces in recent years. Nevertheless, their impact persists in the collective memory and in current self-management strategies within the artistic community.  <\/p>\n<p>This phenomenon is a reflection of the resilient and dynamic nature of art in Tijuana. <a href=\"#\">Over the last two decades<\/a>, independent spaces have been key to understanding the transformations in the city&#8217;s artistic production, demonstrating that, beyond the resources available, creativity and collective organization continue to<del> drive new forms of expression<\/del>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2562\" style=\"width:
