Hilda Vanessa Ramos has a degree in fine arts from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Tijuana campus. She was part of the selection of the VIII International Biennial of Banners ( 2014) and the XVIII Plastic Biennial of Baja California. (2011). She has been a recipient of the following scholarships Young Creators of the Stimulus Program for Creation and Artistic Development of Baja California (2011). He has been part of multiple selections in biennials, group exhibitions and art fairs. His most recent solo exhibition is entitled Diagram in 206 Contemporary Art (Tijuana, 2014). He was also part of the collective exhibition entitled Mats 20 at the Centro Cultural Tijuana (Tijuana, 2017). His work is developed mainly in the disciplines of drawing, illustration and textile art. He lives and works from the San Diego-Tijuana region.

statement

Her work analyzes identity through the exploration of the body and the elements that make it up as well as the contextual factors that build it, working mainly with drawing and graphics, based on photographic evidence and body register. Her work shows the relationship between the body, identity and its contexts, that is, the way in which our surroundings and experiences mark a course in our body to strengthen personal identity.
