ELSOLDERAC

statement
For Elsolderac everything starts from a pictorial gesture; an act of self-exploration and resistance. Through intuitive and fluid strokes, he dematerializes body and space. For him, artistic expression must have a profound intention, an experience that transcends the superficial, and that provokes, in its intellectual interaction with the viewer, the slightest self-questioning.
The artist’s plastic work can be understood from an anthropological approach, where materiality plays a fundamental role. Through the pictorial gesture, he integrates the habitat, time and everyday objects, using both conventional and non-conventional materials of traditional painting. Fire, present in his processes, symbolizes transformation and regeneration. The work reflects the mutability of the environment and, at times, is exhibited at ground level, inviting the viewer to leave his or her mark, bearing witness to the interaction between being, art and time. His installations function as transitory atmospheres, transforming the space from art to make it accessible to the public. These interventions encourage collective reflection, becoming symbols of coexistence and resistance. The elements of his work are confronted, reinterpreted and celebrated as symbols of coexistence between human beings and their habitat, between the individual and the community.
In her work with clothing, Elsoldelrac also challenges the limits and stereotypes imposed by society. Her garments not only cover the body, but invite reflection on the meaning of fashion, craftsmanship and globalization. These pieces are both works of art and tools for self-definition, creating a space where each wearer can reinterpret their identity. Each garment has a transformative power, inviting the wearer to unleash their personal expression. Through her work, Elsoldelrac renounces the rigid categories of art and life, proposing a way of being in the world that defies traditional hierarchical systems.
