Carolina Castañeda holds a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Tijuana campus, and a master’s degree in visual arts from the Academia de San Carlos, Facultad de Artes y Diseño (FAD) of the Universidad Autónoma de México, where she graduated with honors. She has received support for artistic creation from the National System of Art Creators (SNCA) in the discipline of graphic narrative. She has been part of multiple selections in biennials and group exhibitions. His most recent solo exhibition is entitled ¿Qué haces cuando no hay más? at Once Upon a Frame (Solana Beach, 2023). He was also part of the group exhibition Riso at Hecho a Mano Org (New Mexico, 2024). His most recent publication is entitled The Man of Many Passports (Independent Publication, 2024). His work is developed mainly in drawing and painting, being the graphic novel his medium of creation. He lives and works from the city of San Agustín Etla, Mexico.
